CH Boutique Hotel is currently looking for a couple of hardworking, dedicated individuals with an eye for detail, quality and cleanliness to join our housekeeping team.
The Position
If you know what it takes to exceed guest expectations and have experience within housekeeping or commercial cleaning, this is your opportunity to work in this unique environment. The successful applicant must be available for 20-25 hours a week for shifts between 9am to 3pm across a 7 day roster.
Key Duties
Your day to day will involve:
- Attending to guest requests.
- Reporting any maintenance concerns.
- Check out, service and deep cleaning of rooms in line with brand standards.
- Assisting the wider Housekeeping Team as needed.
- Ensuring equipment is kept clean and maintained.
- Working with a range of chemicals.
- Deep cleaning and daily cleaning of all hotel public areas in line with brand standards.
- Monitoring and controlling supplies and amenities to minimise wastage.
The Person
With 1 – 2 years of experience within a housekeeping environment in a hotel or resort, as the ideal candidate, you will have good communication skills, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high standards. You will need to be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment and able to carry, push or lift heavy objects such as linen, beds, bed sheets and vacuum cleaners, and be able to frequently stand up and move about the hotel grounds. Knowledge of safe working habits and chemical handling along with the use of cleaning machinery is desirable.
